Summer Bulletin Board
So... here's the 3D butterflies I promised to show. I've not finished my whole bulletin board yet... but I like what I started.

Marbled Construction Paper
I like to sometimes wander through our store... slowly... taking my time, examining all the products. (Wouldn't it be nice to hold a cup of coffee while doing this? ...maybe someday.) I enjoy seeing what things are in stock that are new to me. I recently discovered marbled construction paper. Apparently, a lot of teachers already know about this... but I'm excited about the possibilities. It looks like tie-dyed fabric to me. On a bulletin board, how about little t-shirt shaped cut-outs? ... butterflies? ... flowers? ...funky 70's cars? Everyone write and let me know how you've used this paper!
I started playing around with this cool paper. I made butterflies... I think I will layer them and fold them up (like 3D). I'll show you what I come up with. Hopefully, I will get additional inspiration from all of you for this bulletin board I'm working on.

Paper by the yard
This may not be earth-shattering information, but to those of us who decorate bulletin boards, the idea of custom-cut paper is awesome! Paper...measured, cut, bound neatly, and even wrapped in plastic if it's raining!
Am I the last one to know this kind of convenience exists? I'm the fool who still thought I had to re-use the paper underneath last winter's decorations... or else buy an entire roll of paper, just for one small piece.
Last week, I tried out this unique service for myself. Becky (above) measured and cut a beautiful piece of blue-green paper...only what I needed.
I'm off to decorate a spring/summer bulletin board for my K-1st grade class at church. I'll show more pics later...
